Modular Deck
STEEL FORMWORK TILE
The steel formwork tile, also known as Steel Deck, is used in the composite steel and concrete slab, functioning as part or all of the slab's tensile reinforcement. During the construction phase, the formwork supports the permanent actions and the construction overload in isolation.
Known as Modular Deck, the MODULAR | BR tile formwork is produced according to the requirements of standard NBR 16421, has a trapezoidal cross-section, with “V” grooves and a “male and female” fitting at the bottom.
Features
-
Two Modular Deck heights
-
ZAR 280 structural grade steel with Z275 coating
-
Standardized geometry and useful width
-
Form length is as per project requirements*
* Maximum length of 12 meters is recommended due to shipping costs.
Advantages
-
No need for bracing.
-
Eliminates the deformation step, as the formwork is incorporated into the system.
-
Reduces or eliminates tensile reinforcement in the positive moment region.
-
Reduces material waste on site.
-
Greater safety as it serves as a work platform during the construction phase, allowing work to be carried out on lower floors.
-
Ease of handling, installation and concreting resulting in shorter construction time.
-
Enables the installation of shear connectors for composite beams.
ACCESSORIES
The use of accessories when assembling the forms guarantees the rational use and correct installation of the Modular Deck.
